PURPOSE:

To consider adopting the attached resolution declaring the property located at 1918 Delphine Drive, Decatur, GA, 30032, Parcel Identification Number 15-172-11-050, as surplus, and authorizing the sale to the highest bidder.

 

NEED/IMPACT:

Adjacent property owners, A’Brittany Campbell & Dylan DeCoste, have requested this property to be declared surplus. The property is owned by DeKalb County and the Property Appraisal Department has assessed the value of this property to be $6,000.00. The County shall dispose of the Property as provided in O.C.G.A. § 36-9-3 and shall advertise the Property for sale to the highest bidder. 

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

Sale of this property will return it to the tax roll.

Recommended Action

To approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents.
