PURPOSE:

Consists of piggybacking off the competitively let Statewide Contract No. 999-SPD-NVPWA06913-0004. This request is to fund the purchase of 252 portable radios and charges. The lease-purchase will have an interest rate of 2.170% and includes the cost of the radio equipment, accessories, onsite installation and support. The agreement also includes 5 years of preventive maintenance. The upgrade will allow the County to maintain interoperability with other agencies during emergencies and special operations.
