PURPOSE:

This emergency request consists of purchasing a 150KW mobile diesel generator for the DeKalb County Tobie Grant Recreation Center warming shelter. On January 14, 2025, Purchase Order No. 5019275 was approved to secure a mobile generator for the Tobie Grant emergency warming shelter. There was not an emergency power backup solution at this location. This purchase will ensure a reliable backup power source is installed at the emergency warming shelter to maintain operations and avoid service disruptions.
