PURPOSE:
Pursuant to Section 13A of the DeKalb County Organizational Act and the bylaws and constitution of the DeKalb County Public Library, CEO Cochran-Johnson nominates Ms. Bettye Davis for reappointment to Post 7 of the DeKalb County Public Library Board of Trustees. Ms. Davis has been vetted and recommended for reappointment by the DeKalb County Public Library Board of Trustees.
This is a four (4) year term that will expire December 31, 2028. Ms. Davis has continued to serve after expiration of her previous term, which expired on December 31, 2024.
NEED/IMPACT:
The DeKalb County Public Library Board of Trustees manages the operations of the DeKalb County Public Library System.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No cost to the County.

To approve the reappointment of Ms. Bettye Davis to Post 7 of the DeKalb County Public Library Board of Trustees for a term that expires on December 31, 2028.
