PURPOSE:

To extend Dr. Obeng’s employment agreement for six months while a new employment agreement is discussed. 

 

NEED/IMPACT:

To extend Dr. Obeng’s employment agreement to serve as the Board of Commissioners’ Chief of Staff for six months while a new employment agreement is discussed.

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

$73,548.80

 

RECOMMENDATION:

Recommended Action

Extend Dr. Obeng’s employment agreement for six months, through April 19, 2024, at an annual salary rate of $147,097.60, with all other terms remaining as shown in the attached existing employment agreement.  Authorize the Presiding Officer or his designee to execute any documents needed to implement the contract extension.
