PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on January 3, 2013 for an amount not to exceed $300,000.00. On May 9, 2017, the BOC approved Change Order No.1 for an amount not to exceed $950,000.00. This revenue generating contract consists of providing management of false alarms through proprietary software specifically designed to assist in false alarm reductions in accordance with the County Ordinance. This request is to extend the contract term to allow appropriate time to assess the complexities of conversion to another system if needed.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 2 to extend the contract term through January 31, 2019 with:
AOT Public Safety Corporation, 103 Paul Mellon Court, Suite A, Waldorff, MD 20602
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents
