PURPOSE:
To consider accepting supplemental transportation funds in the amount of $33,432.00 for the DeKalb County Adult Felony Drug Court from the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council and appropriating the amount to an existing Grant Fund.
NEED/IMPACT:
The Criminal Justice Coordinating Council has awarded supplemental funds in the amount of $33,432.00 to the DeKalb County Adult Felony Drug Court. Funding will be used toward transportation support for program participants via the usage of MARTA Passes. The grant period is from January 1, 2026 through June 30, 2026. The required cash match ($5,900.00) will be met through the Superior Court Operating budget.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funding for all services provided by Criminal Justice Coordinating Council Grant in the amount of $33,432.00. Funding must be spent by June 30, 2026, end of State FY 2026.
