PURPOSE:
Consists of purchasing from the competitively let SWC No. 99999-001-SPD0000155-0001 for the provision of twenty (20) various 2027 International Dump Trucks. This purchase includes six (6) 16 ft. dump trucks with insulated bodies, four (4) 16 ft. dump trucks without insulation and ten (10) 10 ft. dump trucks with insulated bodies. The dump trucks with insulated bodies will be used by Storm Water Department to transport heat-sensitive material such as hot mix asphalt. The remaining dump trucks will be used by RPCA to transport large volumes of loose materials such as gravel, dirt, and various debris to and from various job sites throughout the County. These purchases include tariff and DOAS fees, as well as delivery. This purchase also aligns with the ten (10) year replacement schedule.
