PURPOSE:

Pursuant to Section 5-32 of the Code of DeKalb County, as Revised 1988, where the Chief Executive Officer appoints six (6) members to the Animal Services Advisory Board, Chief Executive Officer Lorraine Cochran-Johnon hereby appoints Mr. Charles Trippi to the Animal Services Advisory Board in the position of Post 5. This is a three (3) year term which will expire December 31, 2027.

 

NEED/IMPACT:

The DeKalb County Animal Services Advisory Board was created to encourage and promote the humane and healthy treatment of animals in DeKalb County. Advising DeKalb County Animal Services and Enforcement, the Animal Services Advisory Board meets to develop long-term strategies for improving practices, service delivery, efficiency, and advise on facilities pertaining to animal services. Mr. Trippi will serve his first term in Post 5.

 

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

No cost to the County.

To record the appointment of Mr. Charles Trippi to Post 5 of the DeKalb County Animal Services Advisory Board for a three-year term effective from January 1, 2025 to the term expiration on December 31, 2027.
