PURPOSE:

Authorize the Amendment of the Rental Agreement between the County and POP3 Ravinia, LLC to extend the term of the agreement for five (5) consecutive additional one (1) year terms; and approve additional funding in an amount not to exceed $147,113.40.

 

NEED/IMPACT:

In 2016, the County entered into a Rental agreement with POP3 Ravinia, LLC for 440 square feet at Three Ravinia Dr. Suite 3300 Atlanta, GA 30346 to expand the 911 coverage to the Dunwoody area. The current contract is scheduled to expire August 31, 2021. The Department wishes to extend the term of the agreement, effective, September 1, 2021, for five (5) consecutive additional one (1) year terms. The Amendment contains an option to cancel at any time after the first extension term by giving the other party ninety (90) days’ notice of its election to so cancel.

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

Total contract value will not exceed $147,113.40 and will be paid out of the E911 fund at the annual agreed

rate

 

RECOMMENDATION:

Recommended Action

(1) Authorize the amendment of the Rental Agreement between the County and POP3 Ravinia, LLC to extend the term of the agreement, effective September 1, 2021, for five (5) consecutive additional one (1) year terms;(2) Approve additional funding in an amount not to exceed $147,113.40; (3) Authorize the CEO to execute the Amendment in a form acceptable to the County Attorney or her Designee.
