PURPOSE:
To approve a resolution to appropriate Federal America Rescue Plan funds reserved for District 4 for the purposes of partnering with DeKalb Volunteer Lawyers Foundation to provide pro-bono legal aid as defined by American Rescue Plan criteria for use not to exceed $50,000.00.
NEED/IMPACT:
DeKalb stakeholders servicing constituents have a need for financial support to provide essential resources, relief and support to DeKalb County residents affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Distribution of $50,000.00 from District 4 ARP POETA #105726-69110-521209-01-602476.
RECOMMENDATION:

To approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents.
