PURPOSE:
This contract was awarded by the BOC on July 24, 2018 under ITB 17-100913 for an amount not to exceed $4,500,000.00.  On August 27, 2019, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 to add $500,000 in additional SPLOST funding. This is an annual contract utilized by RPCA and Transportation departments for paving of sidewalks, drainage improvements, and roadways. Change Order No. 2 is being submitted to add funding in the amount of $30,000.00 from District 2 Park Bond funds for a concrete slab for Frazier Rowe Park Pavilion. RPCA requested and received estimates from both contractors awarded under ITB 17-100913 to perform these services and funding is being added to the SD&C, Inc. as the lowest price quoted for the work.
 
 
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 2 to Contract No. 1139824 and to authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
