PURPOSE:
To appropriate $5,616 from the 2023 District 2 Youth Reserves for Callanwolde Fine Arts Center’s Title III ESOL Programming for Lakeside High School students.
NEED/IMPACT:
Callanwolde Fine Arts Center supports Title III programming for DeKalb County students from Lakeside High School. The program supports 100 students to attend two workshops a year paying for teachers, materials, transportation, and lunch for a total of $5,616. Activities include dance, drawing, painting, throwing on the wheel and music appreciation; a cultural emersion program through art.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Increase appropriations for the following accounts by the amount indicated below:

Decrease appropriations for the following account by the amount indicated below:
Non-Departmental - General Fund - Reserve for Appropriation (09110.579002.100.0000.0000) - $5,616

To approve the appropriation of $5,616 from the 2023 District 2 Youth Reserves to the Callanwolde Foundation, Inc for Title III ESOL programming for Lakeside High School students and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents
