PURPOSE:

Intergovernmental Agreement with the City of Tucker to acquire a portion of Land Lot 214 of the 18th District of DeKalb County, known as 4345 Cowan Road of approximately 1200 square feet which will be utilized in the future to connect a pedestrian trail on an adjacent property designed and constructed by the City of Tucker.  The City of Tucker will pay the sum of $58,000.00 to include DeKalb County’s design and construction of 15 off-street parking spaces, a sidewalk, and seating area.

The Intergovernmental Agreement with the City of Tucker has been reviewed and approved by the County Attorney.

 

NEED/IMPACT:

The intergovernmental agreement establishes the terms for a permanent easement between DeKalb County and The City of Tucker to grant access to a public pedestrian walking trail. 

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

None to DeKalb County the City of Tucker will pay the sum of $58,000.00 for approximately 1200 square feet
