PURPOSE:
Pursuant to Section 6-18 of the Code of DeKalb County, as Revised 1988, where each district commissioner shall appoint one (1) member to the Airport Advisory Board, Commissioner Chakira Johnson hereby submits this item to record the appointment of Tess Snipes to the DeKalb County Airport Advisory Board in the position of Post 4.
NEED/IMPACT:
The DeKalb County Airport Advisory Board consults and recommends to the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Commissioners on the establishment of public policy for the Peachtree-DeKalb County Airport. Tess Snipes will serve in Post 4 on the Airport Advisory Board this appointment shall continue at the pleasure of Commissioner Chakira Johnson.

Recommended Action
To record the appointment of Tess Snipes to Post 4 of the DeKalb County Airport Advisory Board for a term concurrent with Commissioner Chakira Johnson’s term, expiring on December 31, 2028.
