PURPOSE:
To consider approving a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with DeKalb County Department of Fire Rescue and Emory University for critical event preparedness and response.
NEED/IMPACT:
This Agreement establishes the collaborative partnership between the DeKalb County Fire Rescue Department (DCFRD) and Emory Emergency Medical Services (EEMS), a division of Emory University’s Office of Critical Event Preparedness and Response, to coordinate training, share emergency response system information, and jointly respond to emergency calls on Emory University’s main Clifton Road campus and related activities.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no cost associated with this memorandum of agreement.
