PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on January 26, 2021 for an amount not to exceed $5,144,324.70. This contract consists primarily of sanitary sewer assessments along with manhole condition assessments and ancillary work. These additional services include cleaning sewers, adjusting manholes, easement clearing, site restoration, and performing sanitary sewer point repairs. The sanitary sewer assessments were divided into two categories: proactive sewer assessments and reactive sewer assessments. The reactive sewer assessments will support DWM operations and maintenance activities which need assessment findings to address items such as sewer spills, spill prevention, sewer cleaning verification, and pipe failure.

This request, to increase funding and the scope of work under the proactive and reactive sewer assessments, will allow for the performance of additionally identified CCTV assessment activities needed to stay in compliance with the County's EPA approved Contingency and Emergency...
