PURPOSE:

To authorize the sale of an easement on County owned property located at Wade Walker Park, 5585 Rockbridge Road, Stone Mountain, GA. 30088, to GA. Power with such easement to be utilized by GA. Power to install guy wires at five locations as part of GA. Power project 2025040182 Stone Mountain S2502-DHN.  The funding received in the amount of $2,750.00 will go to RPCA’s Capital Fund Organization to be used for capital improvements.

 

NEED/IMPACT:

GA. Power is currently acquiring an easement access needed for five guy wires to be installed at Wade Walker Park.  As part of project 2025040182 GA. Power is seeking acquisition of an easement at 5585 Rockbridge Road (parcel 18 037 13 005 in land lot 18, 19, 20, 37, 33, 64 of the 18th and 16th Districts of DeKalb County).

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

RPCA will receive $2,750.00 for the easement which will go to RPCA’s Capital Fund for capital improvements.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

Recommended Action

To authorize an easement at property located at 5585 Rockbridge Road to GA. Power and authorize the execution of all necessary documents in a form acceptable to the County Attorney.
