PURPOSE:
Transfer $136,000.00 from the American Rescue Plan (ARP) grant funds assigned to Account 105744.63258.521209.01.01.602479 reserved for District 1 to the Human Services Department for the purchase of an aging transportation bus for the North DeKalb Senior Center
NEED/IMPACT:
This purchase would assist low-income and seniors without transportation. The bus would be used for quality of life trips, special events, group activities and as part of the fleet to meet the Federal standard to assure mobility to seniors who have a demonstrated transportation need.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The funding will come from District 1 American Rescue Plan (ARP) Funding and be transferred to the Human Services Department.

Recommended Action
To approve the transfer of $136,000 from the American Rescue Plan (ARP) grant funds assigned to Account 105744.63258.521209.01.01.602479 reserved for District 1 to the Human Services Department for the purchase of an aging transportation bus for the North DeKalb Senior Center and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents.
