PURPOSE:
To consider accepting -$182,960.00for the DeKalb County Adult Felony Drug Court from the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council and appropriating the amount to a new Grant Fund.
NEED/IMPACT:
The Criminal Justice Coordinating Council has awarded -$182,960.00 to the DeKalb County Adult Felony Drug Court. Funding will be used toward annual conference, psychiatric & nursing services, counseling & peer support services, housing, medication, drug testing & monitoring supplies, and transportation costs for program participants. The grant period is from July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022. The required cash match ($20,329) will be met through the Superior Court Operating and/or DATE Fund budget.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funding for all services provided by Criminal Justice Coordinating Council Grant in the amount of $182,960.00. Funding must be spent by June 30, 2022, end of State FY 2022.

To approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents. To accept $182,960.00 for DeKalb County Adult Felony Drug Court from the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council and appropriate the amount to a new Grant Fund
