PURPOSE:
To authorize the sale of a permanent easement of 20 square feet of County owned property located at 3823 Eagle Woods Circle to Georgia Power.
NEED/IMPACT:
Georgia Power is seeking to acquire a permanent easement of 20 square feet of County owned property located at 3823 Eagle Woods Circle, Lithonia Georgia 30038 tax parcel 16-046-01-008 in land lot 46 of the 16 district of DeKalb County, Georgia; with such easement area to be utilized by GA Power to provide enough space to construct, install, and maintain the new equipment for the ‘The Grid Investment Plan’ project that focuses on upgrading transmissions and distribution infrastructures across the power grid to decrease the number and length of power outages. The funding received in the amount of $200.00 will go to RPCA Capital Fund Organization 86101 to be used for capital improvements.
FISCAL IMPACT:
RPCA will receive $200.00 for the acquired easement which will go to RPCA’s Capital Fund 86101 for capital improvements

Recommended Action
To authorize the sale of an easement of 20 square feet of property located at 3823 Eagle Woods Circle to Georgia Power and authorize the execution of all necessary documents in a form acceptable to the County Attorney.
