CO - Change Order No. 5 to Contract Nos.: 1139824 and 1139826 for Sidewalks and Roadways (Multiyear): for use by the Departments of Public Works - Transportation and Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs (RPCA). These contracts consist of sidewalks, drainage improvements and minor road improvements. Awarded to: Autaco Development and SD&C, Inc. CHANGE IN SCOPE OF WORK ONLY. No Fiscal Impact to the County.

PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on July 24, 2018 for an amount not to exceed $3,000,000.00. On August 27, 2019, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 to add $1,000,000 in additional SPLOST funding. On December 17, 2019, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 to add funding in the amount of $30,000.00 from District 2 Park Bond funds for a concrete slab for Frazier Rowe Park Pavilion to the SD&C contract (1139824). On March 31, 2020, the BOC approved Change Order No. 3 authorizing the addition of line items such as traffic control and grading required to complete the work. On July 14, 2020, the BOC approved Change Order No. 4 authorizing the addition of line items such as rip rap, filter blankets and drain basins (including concrete) that are necessary to complete projects but were not included as a specific line item in the original solicitation. This request is to authorize the inclusion of additional line items to complete projects as assigned such as: modular retaining wall (on existing wall footing), removal and reinstallation of wheel stops and the installation of new wheel stops as required.
