This contract consists of the construction of Cell 1 and Cell 2 subgrade at the Seminole Road Landfill to continue providing waste disposal capacity for the residents of DeKalb County. Awarded to Morgan Corporation. Amount Not To Exceed: $7,941,155.75.

PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on October 08, 2019 for an amount not to exceed $13,464,285.92 for the construction of Cell 1 and the subgrade for Cell 2. Cell 1 is expected to be completed June 2020. This request is to add additional funds for the continuation and completion of Cell 2.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 1 with:
Morgan Corporation, 1800 East Main Street, Duncan, SC 29334
Amount Not To Exceed: $7,941,155.75
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents
