PURPOSE:
To allocate $300,000 from District 3 reserved funds to support District 3 initiatives and other county programs.
NEED/IMPACT:
The funds are needed to support capital improvement projects in District 3 with appropriating funds to build out phase I of the Rainbow Park Amphitheater; build a state-of-the art park in the Ellenwood community and support community development programs.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The funding will be moved from account number 09130.579002.272 for District 3 and appropriated to the following initiatives and respective account numbers:
• Rainbow Park Amphitheater - $100,000 to account # 09130.611350.272
• Ellenwood Park - $100,000 to account # 09130.611350.272
• Magistrate Court - $50,000 to account # 09130.611250.272
• Community Development Program:
o Homeless Rental Assistance - $50,000 to account # 09130.611250.272; (Grant) 69701-391100-250

To approve the allocations from District 3 reserved funds and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all the necessary documents.
