PURPOSE:
To consider amending Item 2025-1598 previously adopted on November 10, 2025, setting the Board of Commissioners’ 2026 Regular Business and Committee of the Whole Calendar with the following changes:
- change the Committee of the Whole meeting scheduled for Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at 9:00 am to Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at 5:30 pm (with the public comment section starting at 6:30 pm)
- change the Committee of the Whole meeting scheduled for Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at 9:00 am to Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at 5:30 pm (with the public comment section starting at 6:30 pm).
A corrected calendar is attached.
NEED/IMPACT:
The Commissioners will hold two Committee of the Whole meetings at 5:30 pm. These meetings will be held at different locations around the County to allow for more citizen involvement. During the two evening meetings, the public comment section shall start at 6:30 pm and last for thirty (30) minutes. This item reschedules the Board of Commissioners’ and Committee of the Whole meetings accordingly. A corrected calendar is attached.
