PURPOSE:
To accept a $47,000 Park Pride Community Building Grant for capital improvements at Wade Walker; and set-up a new Wade Walker project in RPCA’s grants organization.
NEED/IMPACT:
This grant is designated for the installation of pedestrian and vehicular directional signage at Wade Walker Park. The signage will provide much improved navigational signage for park users.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Park Pride Grant Fund - $47,000
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To accept a $47,000 Park Pride Community Building Grant for capital improvements at Wade Walker Park, and set-up a new Wade Walker project in RPCA’s grant organization. To also authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents to complete the project.
