PURPOSE:
To allocate an amount not to exceed $15,000 to the Neighbor In Need from the District 3 Reserved for Appropriation to help support, the Neighbor in Need Community Senior Home Repair Initiative.
NEED/IMPACT:
To assist long time, elderly, homeowners in District 3 who wish to age in place in their homes by making emergency home repairs. This can include repairs such as roofing, plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling, light construction and remodeling, pest control, tree work, code compliance needs and repairs of insurance policy related items.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Increase appropriations for the following account by the amounts indicated below:
Other Miscellaneous Charges (00203.523909.100.000.0000) - $15,000.00
Decrease appropriations for the following account by the amount indicated below:
Reserve for Appropriation (00203.579002.100.000.0000) - $15,000.00
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve the allocation of $15,000.00 from the District 3 Reserve for Appropriation and authorize the Chief Executive Officer or her designee to execute all necessary documents.
