PURPOSE:
Budget Amendment to increase the General Fund, Recreation Parks & Cultural Affairs - Sugar Creek Tennis & Golf to Address the Lighting and Retention Wall for the 3rd Tennis Court. An Amount not to exceed $800,000.00
NEED/IMPACT:
Installing additional lighting will enhance safety, improve accessibility, and extend court availability, allowing more community members to enjoy tennis during evening hours. Construction of the retaining wall is also essential to support the development of the third tennis court by providing the necessary site stability and infrastructure. These improvements will continue to expand recreational opportunities, promote active and healthy lifestyles, and support the physical, mental, and social well-being of residents. This investment will create a safer and more welcoming environment.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Increase appropriations for the following account by $800,000: Contributions - Transfer to CIP Fund - Designated Services Fund (09043.611350.271.000.0000)
Decrease appropriations for the following account by $800,000: Fund Reserves - Budgetary Reserve - Designated Services Fund (09610.579013.271.000.0000)
