LB - Invitation to Bid No. 2025-089-ITB Auction Services for Disposal of Surplus Properties (2 Year Contract with 1 Option to Renew) [Revenue Generating]: for use by Public Works-Fleet Management. Consists of generating revenue for the County through the onsite and online auctioning of surplus vehicles, trucks, tractors, heavy equipment, parts, tires, and miscellaneous fleet related items, as well as real properties as needed. This request also seeks authorization to conduct auctions and the sale of all auction items. Recommend award to the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder: Equiplinc Auction Group. Amount Not To Exceed: Eight percent (8%) fee for online and onsite sales.

PURPOSE:
Consists of generating revenue for the County through the auctioning of surplus vehicles (cars, pickup trucks), trucks (heavy duty & light duty), pieces of equipment (heavy & light duty), tractors, trailers, mowers, loaders, and on-the road & off-the-road equipment. Miscellaneous items include parts, tires rims, machinery, and various other fleet related items, as well as real properties (residential, commercial, and industrial) as needed. Auction services are to be performed both onsite and online and at a minimum of twice a year at the discretion of the County. The eight percent (8%) fee covers all assets, pallets, and miscellaneous items, including the transportation of all items to auction location charged to each asset & deducted from sale of proceeds. Six (6) bids were received.
