PURPOSE:
To allocate an amount not to exceed $50,000 from the District 3 Reserved for appropriation funds to help with evictions to New Life Community Ministries, Inc.
NEED/IMPACT:
To allocate an amount not to exceed $50,000 from District 3 Reserved for appropriation funds to help the many families within District 3 that have experienced adverse impact and require emergency assistance during the pandemic. The funding will be provided to Community Based Organizations (CBO) to help sustain the families during this difficult period with evictions.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Increase appropriations for the following accounts by the amount indicated below:
Non-Departmental - Unincorporated Fund - Other Miscellaneous Payments (09130.573099.272.0000.0000) - $50,000
Decrease appropriations for the following account by the amount indicated below:
Non-Departmental - Unincorporated Fund - Reserve for Appropriation (09130.579002.272.0000.0000) - $50,000
Funds will be allocated to the following:
New Life Community Ministries, Inc - $50,000 (Evictions)
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents.
