CO - Change Order No. 1 to all contracts awarded under ITB No. 15-100541 for Parts for Vehicles and Off-Road Equipment (Annual Contract with 2 Options to Renew): for use by Public Works - Fleet Management, Police Services (PS) and the Department of Watershed Management (DWM). These contracts (see attached vendor listing) consist of providing repair parts and accessories for various types of vehicles and equipment. Request to extend the term of the contracts for three months through March 31, 2019. Total Amount Not To Exceed: $915,619.00.
In addition, request approval to appropriate SPLOST funds in the amount of $1,837,728.00 for up-fitting of police vehicles from line item 2F $5,606,300.00 total and $200,000.00 from the Police Fund for Contract No. 990970 with West Chatham Warning Devices, Inc. Amount Not To Exceed: $2,037,728.00.

PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on November 10, 2015 for an amount not to exceed $6,050,000.00. On November 7, 2016, the BOC approved the 1st renewal option for an amount not to exceed $4,900,000.00. On November 14, 2017, the BOC approved the 2nd renewal option for an amount not to exceed $4,825,000.00. This Change Order is to request SPLOST funding for Contract No. 990970 in the amount of $375,000.00 and an additional $200,000.00 from the Police Fund for the purchase of specialized equipment for police vehicles. This request is to extend all awarded contracts for three months through March 31, 2019 and add funding in the amount of $915,619.00 to allow time for the completion of processing a new solicitation to establish new contracts.
