PURPOSE:

Allocate $26,320.00 from 2001 District 2 Bond Account 600020 and RPCA account 6116.522201 for improvements at WD Thomson Park

 

NEED/IMPACT:

The allocated funding will be used for the improvement of a pedestrian bridge at the southern end of WD Thomson Park.  This bridge will establish critical connectivity to a previously inaccessible area of the park, as adopted in the recently adopted Master Plan.

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

The cost of the improvement is estimated to be $26,320.00 and 2001 District 2 Bond Account 600020 and RPCA account 6116.522201 will be the proposed funding source.  Specially, the following accounts have been identified for funding:

RECOMMENDATION:

Recommended Action

To approve funding from 2001 District 2 Park Bond Account 600020 and RPCA account 6116.522201 for a pedestrian bridge to be built at WD Thomson Park; and, to authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents to complete the installation of the bridge.
