PURPOSE:
Awarded on January 17, 2024, for an amount not to exceed $60,218.40. On December 10, 2024, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 for an amount not to exceed $60,218.40. On October 28, 2025, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 for an amount not to exceed $60,218.40. Consists of the annual rental of undercover vehicles utilized for special operations by Police Services (PS) and is imperative to the safety and protection of DeKalb County citizens. This request seeks to renew the rental agreement and increase funds through November 23, 2027, aligning with the 2027 High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA) Grant funding cycle.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 3 with:
Budget Car & Truck Rental of Atlanta, 1110 Northchase Pkwy., Ste. 200, Marietta, GA 30067
Amount Not To Exceed: $76,641.60
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
