PURPOSE:
To appropriate $43,800.00 of District 6 Reserve for Appropriations to Nicole Sage, Sage PR Consulting, for event development, production logistics, and community outreach FY2026 Shakespeare On The Green-Community Arts and Education series.
NEED/IMPACT:
In 2025 Commissioner Terry partnered with the City of Avondale Estates to launch this pilot which consisted of 3, Fall productions with the assistance and expertise of Sage PR. This District 6 allocation to Nicole Sage, Sage Pr provides the FY2026 services for Shakespeare on the Green event development, production logistics, and community outreach for the delivery of 6 recurring live Shakespeare performance events during the Spring and Fall.
This effort stands as both a proof of concept and a launching point for future cultural programming countywide. It highlights a partnership of capacity to lead, build partnerships, navigate logistics, and create meaningful, sustainable community experiences through public-private collaboration.
