PURPOSE:
An Item To Record the Appointment of Kaitlyn Brewster to the District 5 Community Council Board. The appointee will serve at the pleasure of Commissioner Davis Johnson through December 31, 2028 or until another member is appointed.
NEED/IMPACT:
DeKalb County Community Councils review applications for rezoning, land use plan amendments, special land use permits, and text amendments, and report their recommendations to the DeKalb County Planning Commission. Pursuant to the Zoning Code of DeKalb County, the District 5 Commissioner shall appoint 11 members to the District 5 Community Council Board. Community council members serve at the pleasure of the district commissioner making their appointment or until a successor is appointed and qualified. This Item is submitted by Commissioner Johnson for recording in the minutes.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no cost to the County.

To direct the Clerk to the CEO/BOC to record the appointment of Kaitlyn Brewster to the District 5 Community Council.
