PURPOSE:
Allocate District 4 2024 Reserve for Appropriation funds to Human Services Department for the purpose of setting up an account to fund Memory Café programming for persons living with dementia and their caretakers.
NEED/IMPACT:
Persons living with dementia and their caretakers benefit from quality engaging programming that are facilitated in safe social gathering places.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Transfer $27,300.00 of District 4 2024 Reserve for Appropriation funds to Human Services to set-up an account to fund Memory Café programming.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To authorize the Chief Executive Officer or designee to prepare and execute all necessary documents to transfer $27,300.00 to Human Services Department for the purpose of funding Memory Café at East Central DeKalb Community and Senior Center.
