PURPOSE:
Record the re-appointment of Ms. Elizabeth Andrews to the District 5 Community Council. The appointment will continue at the pleasure of Commissioner Johnson.
NEED/IMPACT:
DeKalb County Community Councils review applications for rezoning, land use plan amendments, special land use permits, and text amendments, and report their recommendations to the DeKalb County Planning Commission. Pursuant to the Zoning Code of DeKalb County, the District 5 Commissioner shall appoint 11 members to the District 5 Community Council Board. Community council members serve at the pleasure of the district commissioner making their appointment or until a successor is appointed and qualified. This Item is submitted by Commissioner Johnson for recording in the minutes.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No cost to the County.
