PURPOSE:
To appropriate District 2 reserve funding to MicroLife Institute Inc for the 2021 Innovative Housing Summit and Atlanta Tiny Home Festival held in DeKalb County.
NEED/IMPACT:
MicroLife Institute Inc will use the principles and policies established by the Georgia Tech Design Studio to help inspire policy adaptation and ideas for the DeKalb County Comprehensive Land Use Plan and market the 2021 Innovative Housing Summit and Atlanta Tiny Home Festival. District 2 is proud to sponsor these initiatives.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Increase appropriations for the following account by the amount indicated below:
Non-Departmental - Unincorporated Fund - Transfer to Grant Fund (09130.611250.272.0000.0000) - $10,000
Decrease appropriations for the following account by the amount indicated below:
Non-Departmental - Unincorporated Fund - Reserve for Appropriation (09130.579002.272.0000.0000) - $10,000

Recommended Action
To approve the appropriation of $10,000 to MicroLife Institute Inc and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents.
