PURPOSE:
The Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs is requesting authorization to add a Capital Improvement Project Fee of $2.00 to all rounds of golf at Mystery Valley Golf Course.
NEED/IMPACT:
The CIP fee will be $2.00 added on to each round of golf played at Mystery Valley. For 2022, the CIP fee is estimated to generate $40,000 that may be used for current and/or future capital projects at the golf course.
FISCAL IMPACT:
An estimated $40,000 will be generated in 2022 to be added to the RCPA CIP budget for Mystery Valley. An estimate of $60,000/year will be generated in 2023 and future years.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve the addition of a $2.00 Capital Improvement Project Fee to be added to all rounds of golf played at Mystery Valley Golf Course; and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents and contracts required.
