PURPOSE:
To approve the appropriation (amount not to exceed) $50,000 from the District 3 ARP Award from POETA Account # 105744.63258.521209.01.03.602479 to support Rent, Mortgage, Utilities, Food, Water Bill assistance, and any other essential needs for those impacted by COVID-19
NEED/IMPACT:
The funds are being appropriated to help the many families within District 3 that have experienced job loss, reduced wages and require emergency assistance during the pandemic. The funding will be provided to Community Based Organizations (CBO) to help sustain the families during this difficult period.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The funding will come from District 3 ARP Award from POETA Account # 105744.63258.521209.01.03.602479 and appropriated to the following agency:

To approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents.
