This contract consists of the maintenance of on-site chlorinators, chemical maintenance, seasonal preparation, and lifeguard services for swimming pools and splashpads. PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on March 22, 2022 in an amount not to exceed $2,515,160.00. On April 25, 2023, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 in an amount not to exceed $72,000.00 and to add East Central DeKalb Senior & Community Center located at 4875 Elam Road, Stone Mountain, GA 30083. On December 17, 2024, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 to increase contract funds in an amount not to exceed $865,000.00 and term through September 30, 2025. On June 10, 2025, the BOC approved Change Order No. 3 to add the Department of Human Services to the contract and increase the scope to include fitness instruction and administrative tasks for the Lou Walker Senior Center located at 2538 Panola Rd., Lithonia, GA 30058 for an amount not to exceed $150,000.00. This request seeks to increase the contract funds and term through March 31, 2026 to continue services and allow time to execute a new contract.
