PURPOSE:
To amend Chapter 14 principally to revise the County’s Erosion and Sediment Control Ordinance to match or exceed the update 2016-model ordinance of the State of Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD).
NEED/IMPACT:
This revision is required for the County to retain its certification as a Local Issuing Authority (LIA).

RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To adopt the attached ordinance and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents to amend the Erosion and Sedimentation components of Chapter 14 to match or exceed the updated 2016-model EPD ordinance of the State of Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) in order to maintain the County’s Local Issuing Authority (LIA) Certification.
