PURPOSE:
To consider accepting $70,688.00 for the DeKalb County Adult Felony Drug Court & Veterans Court from the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council and to appropriate the funds into a new award in the grant fund.
NEED/IMPACT:
The Criminal Justice Coordinating Council has awarded $70,688.00 to the DeKalb County Adult Felony Drug Court & Veterans Court to support program costs including annual staff training, psychiatric and nursing services, counseling and peer support services, medication assistance, as well as drug testing and monitoring supplies for program participants. The grant period is July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. The required cash match of $12,474.00 will be met through the Superior Court operating budget.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Grant funding for all services is provided by the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council in the amount of $70,688.00. All funds must be spent by June 30, 2027, end of State FY 2027.

To approve the resolution and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents. To accept $70,688.00 for DeKalb County Adult Felony Drug Court & Veterans Court from the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council and appropriate the funds into to a new award in the grant fund
