PURPOSE:
Approved by the BOC on June 25, 2013 for an amount not to exceed $793,779.00. Change Order No. 1 was ratified by the BOC on October 14, 2014 to extend the contract expiration date to May 30, 2016. Change Order No. 2 was approved by the BOC on May 10, 2016 to extend the contract expiration date to May 30, 2017. This contract consists of a subgrant to fund the implementation of traffic signal priority control upgrades to support prioritization of transit buses traveling in the Buford Highway corridor. All work was completed under budget. This request is to extend the contract term for six (6) months to make additional improvements to bus routes with the unused funding.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 3 to extend the contract expiration date through November 30, 2017 with:
Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority, 2424 Piedmont Road, NE, Atlanta, GA 30324
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
