PURPOSE:
To consider approving an addition to the police department vehicle fleet.
NEED/IMPACT:
The 15-passenger van will be utilized by the DeKalb Police Athletic League to provide safe and reliable transportation for youth during PAL and community events.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The cost of the van is $40,553.45. It will be purchased utilizing approved American Rescue Plan funds.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve the addition to the fleet and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents.
