PURPOSE:
The Purpose of This Agenda Item Is to Provide Funding not to Exceed $15,000 of the District 7 Reserve for Appropriation support a resource connection marketing campaign-developed in collaboration with Working Families Power-for District 7 residents experiencing difficulty with water bills.
NEED/IMPACT:
This resource connection marketing campaign-developed in collaboration with Working Families Power-is designed to support District 7 residents having trouble with water bills by directly connecting them to the Urban League, which administers assistance programs. The campaign will not only raise awareness of available support but also provide hands-on guidance with online applications and walk individuals through the process to ensure they can access the resources they need. By bridging the gap between residents and critical aid, this initiative promotes stability, equity, and improved quality of life across DeKalb County.
FISCAL IMPACT:
