PURPOSE:
To Allocate an Amount Not to Exceed $16,954.00 from the District 3 Reserved for Appropriation Fund to DeKalb County Fire Rescue Department for the design and replacement of the gate at the training center. The gate provides better security and will improve the entryway to the center located at 3161 Warren Rd, Decatur, GA 30034.
NEED/IMPACT:
Replacing the entry gate at the DeKalb County Fire Rescue Academy will enhance security and safety protocols by providing controlled access to the facility and preventing unauthorized entry. This improvement will help reduce the risk of theft and vandalism while protecting the equipment and assets on campus. A secure and professional entrance also reflects a positive public image and demonstrates the high standards of safety and professionalism upheld by the DeKalb County Fire Department.

To Allocate an Amount Not to Exceed $16,954.00 from the District 3 Reserve for Appropriation fund to the DeKalb County Fire Rescue Department.

To approve an allocation not to exceed $16,954.00 from the District 3 Reserve for Appropriation fund to the DeKalb County Fire Rescue Department and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents.
