PURPOSE:
To Allocate an Amount Not to Exceed $10,000.00 to Office of DeKalb County’s District Attorney Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Unit from the District 3 Reserved for Appropriation.
NEED/IMPACT:
The trauma experienced by individuals impacted by domestic violence or sexual assault is deep and multi-layered. Domestic violence remains a leading cause of injury and death in Georgia. This funding will help enhance services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking.
FISCAL IMPACT:
To Appropriate an Amount Not to Exceed $10,000.00 to the Office of DeKalb County’s District Attorney Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Unit from the District 3 Reserve for Appropriation (00203.579002.100.000.0000)
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve the allocation of $10,000.00 from the District 3 Reserve for Appropriation and authorize the Chief Executive Officer or her designee to execute all necessary documents.
