This contract consists of the purchase, repair, maintenance, and management of the County's SCBA equipment. This request seeks to increase the contract funds and term through March 30, 2026. This request also seeks a consent to assign the contract and remaining contract funds and term from Municipal Emergency Services, Inc. (MES) to MES Service Company, LLC. PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on July 14, 2020, for an amount not to exceed $1,443,757.20. On June 22, 2021, the BOC approved the 1st renewal option for an amount not to exceed $1,477,246.70. On July 12, 2022, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 for an amount not to exceed $30,000.00 to support a contract term increase to allow additional time to obtain accurate manufacturer pricing and costs for the mandated equipment; to include the approved FY22 replacement project. On October 11, 2022, the BOC approved the 2nd renewal option for an amount not to exceed $5,234,646.00 and ratified a previously provided contract term increase to allow for the full replacement of all current inventory of self-contained breathing apparatuses. On August 22, 2023, the BOC approved the 3rd renewal option for an amount not to exceed $330,000.00.
