PURPOSE:
To accept a $5,000 Park Pride Small Change Grant for capital improvements at Briarlake Forest Park.
NEED/IMPACT:
This grant will be used for a garden shed project at Briarlake Forest Park. The project will include the installation of a concrete pad, shed assembly and installation. The total project budget is $12,500 with the following funding sources:
$5,000 Park Pride Grant
$7,500 District 7 Matching Funds approved via Agenda 2024-0134
FISCAL IMPACT:
Reimbursable grant funding of $5,000 to be received by the County from Park Pride
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To accept a $5,000 Park Pride Small Change Grant for capital improvements at Briarlake Forest Park; and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents to complete the project.
